Graphic Design Students Make Presentations

MANSFIELD, PA— Twelve students from Mansfield University’s Graphic Design program completed internships and practicums this past spring and summer and made presentations about their experiences on November 15 in Allen Hall.  

The students are: Austin Brooks, internship at Buckheit Funeral Chapel; Taylor McConnell, practicum at Stone Cones; Luke Coleman, internship at The Works at Wyomissing; David Ketchum, practicum at The Arts Council of the Southern Finger Lakes; Kristen Tennity, internship at Chesler Photography; Melanie Hartley, internship at Impact Advertising; Megan Kiessling, internship at The Penny Saver; Chad McKay, internship at Smithsonian Exhibits,; Jessica O’Donnell, internship at This Week in the Poconos; Curtis Ousley, internship at The Graphic Hive,; Kristine Ferg, internship at Smithsonian Museum; Noelle Erickson, internship at JDK Group; and Andrea Lynn, internship at Mountain Home Magazine.

Brooks and Hartley are summer graduates.

“Our program is growing in depth and breadth, and these experiences speak to that growth,” Michelle Schlegel, associate professor and Graphic Design Program director, said.
