Wright named Interim Associate Provost, Battin Interim Associate Dean of the Faculty

MANSFIELD, PA—Two faculty members at Mansfield University have been appointed recently to administrative roles in the Division of Academic AffairKathy Wright and Josh Battins. Dr. Kathy Wright, formerly the chairperson of the Department of Health Sciences, has been appointed interim associate provost and dean of the Faculty.  Dr. Josh Battin, formerly chairperson of the Department of Criminal Justice Administration, has been appointed interim associate dean of the Faculty.

“Drs. Wright and Battin bring a great deal of knowledge, commitment and experience to these positions,” President Scott Barton said in making the announcement. “Working with Provost John Ulrich, our academic leadership team will serve us well as we continue to move the university forward and meet the needs of our students, our academic departments, and our region.”

Wright will oversee the eight departments associated with the university’s College of Natural and Social Sciences, while Battin will be responsible for the eight departments associated with the College of Arts and Humanities.
