MANSFIELD, PA – The Mansfield University community is mourning the loss of Professor Emeritus Richard Kemper, who passed away January 2nd.
Richard was a respected faculty member of the Department of Music, serving as the oboe and bassoon professor for 24 years. He was granted Emeritus status on May 24, 1989. He is beloved as a mentor to many students.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 1 p.m., at Southminster Presbyterian Church, 799 Washington Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15228.
