MANSFIELD, PA – Every Life Shall Be a Song: A Choral Concert featuring Works by Women Composers, Poets, & Lyricist

Peggy Dettwiler will be the Artistic Director of a concert held in the historic Carnegie Hall Stern Auditorium featuring high school choirs with the Mansfield University Concert Choir on Sunday, January 20, 2019, at 2 p.m. (Martin Luther King weekend). The concert entitled, “Every Life Shall Be a Song” will feature the works of women composers and poets.

Seven high school choirs will perform 15-minute solo spots and then combine with the Mansfield University Concert Choir for a 10-minute grand finale presenting two works by Gwyneth Walker, “Every Life Shall Be a Song” and “How Can I Keep from Singing.” The MU choir will present a 20-minute solo presentation before the finale.

The high school choirs and their directors are listed as follows. (Three of the directors are MU alums!)
