The accreditation is for eight years.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI couldn\u2019t be more proud of our radiology faculty,\u201d Kathy Wright, chair of the Department of Health Sciences, said. \u201cIt\u2019s so wonderful that they are reaccredited for the maximum number of years and have achieved JRCERT\u2019s highest level of accreditation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Radiology Technology Program is a full-time, two-year Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree program. It is a collaborative program with The MU Department of Health Sciences and the Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital. Students spend the first semester on the campus at Mansfield and the remaining three semesters plus two summer sessions at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA, where they complete classroom and clinical experience.<\/p>\n<p>JRCERT is the only agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (USDE) for the accreditation of traditional and distance delivery educational programs in radiography, radiation therapy, magnetic resonance, and medical dosimetry.
