MANSFIELD, PA\u2014<\/strong>Shawndra Holderby, associate professor of History at Mansfield University, has been\"Shawndra<\/a> elected president of PASSHE Women’s Consortium. The appointment came at the organization\u2019s 30th<\/sup> annual conference, held at Kutztown University October 7-8.<\/p>\n

The PASSHE Women\u2019s Consortium is the only organization within the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) that acts on behalf of all women; faculty, staff, students and administrators. The Consortium initiatives include an annual conference, and three summer leadership institutes for faculty, staff and undergraduate women.<\/p>\n

Also at the conference, Holderby participated in a round table discussion, “Making our Voices Heard: Childcare needs and successes across the PASSHE System.”<\/p>\n

She also organized and moderated a student panel with students from a number of PASSHE schools, “Let your Feminist Flag Fly.” Mansfield English major and Women’s Studies minor Rachel Roupp participated in the student panel.<\/p>\n
