MANSFIELD, PA\u2014<\/strong> With the theme \u201cAll Roads Lead Home,\u201d \"The<\/a>Mansfield University and the Greater Mansfield community celebrated a combined Homecoming and Fabulous 1890s Weekend on September 26-27.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The busy weekend schedule was filled with a full slate of activities and events including a parade, concerts, athletic events, a golf tournament and much more.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Homecoming<\/a>Jalise Clark was named Homecoming Queen and Yaw Boateng was named Homecoming King. The royal couple was crowned by MU President Fran Hendricks during halftime ceremonies of the Mountaineers football game against Navy<\/a> on Saturday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Clark is a senior from Maplewood, NJ. She represented the Sisters of Sophia in the campus-wide voting.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Boateng is a senior from Whitehall, PA. He represented the Men of Distinguished Excellence.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Friday night, the MU Alumni Athletic Hall of Fame welcomed three new individual members and the first induction into the newly created team category during inductions ceremonies at Manser Hall.\"The<\/a>The 1964 men\u2019s basketball team, Tim Cook \u201994, Paul \u201cDuke\u201d Neatrour \u201996 and Heather Long \u201905 were enshrined. The new Hall of Famers were also honored during the Homecoming parade and \"President<\/a>before the football game.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The culmination of the weekend was the re-enactment of the world\u2019s first night football game at Smythe Park, the same site as the famous game played on September 28, 1892. The re-enactment was followed by a spectacular fireworks display.<\/strong><\/p>\n
