MANSFIELD, Pa. – The Office of Student Activities, with support from KC 101.5 FM – Hometown Country and the Mansfield Chamber Of Commerce, will present the “The Ultimate Johnny Cash Tribute” with Terry Lee Goffee\u00a0 at Mansfield University’s Steadman Theater on Thursday February 13, at 7:30 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Doors for the show will open at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are available at the the door for $20, and plenty of parking will be available in the Steadman Theater lot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Terry Lee Goffee<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI wanted to make my show different and unique by portraying Johnny Cash in the first person, rather than just standing there singing the songs,\u201d Goffee says. \u201cLike an actor in a play, I literally become my character and in this case, Johnny Cash, from the moment I walk on stage until the end of the show.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Goffee has performed his tribute across the globe, and recently returned from a tour of Ireland and Germany. In 2009 he was selected to provide the moves for the Johnny Cash character in the video game Guitar Hero 5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This will be the third time Goffee has performed at the university, previously appearing in 2010 and 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
