{"id":390,"date":"2014-10-29T11:17:07","date_gmt":"2014-10-29T15:17:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mansfieldu.wpengine.com\/?p=390"},"modified":"2014-10-29T11:41:37","modified_gmt":"2014-10-29T15:41:37","slug":"mu-professor-presents-and-is-honored-at-national-conference","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/munews.mansfield.edu\/?p=390","title":{"rendered":"Lynne Hammann Presents and is Honored at National Conference"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>MANSFIELD, PA\u2014<\/strong> <strong>Lynne Hammann, associate professor of Education &amp; Special Education at Mansfield University, presented a poster at 44th annual conference of The International Society for Exploring Teaching and Learning (ISETL) held October 16-18 in Denver, CO.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Hammann\u2019s presentation was entitled \u201cDesign the \u2018Write\u2019 Task: Using Text Structure Strategies to Foster 21st Century Thinking.\u201d Her proposal has been published in the ISETL conference proceedings.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Hammann also received an award for her contributions and service as a member of the ISETL Board at the conference.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Hammann is also a member of the Review Board for the ISETL journal, <em>The International Journal of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Her research study, \u201cSelf-Regulation in Academic Writing Tasks,\u201d is on the list of the journal\u2019s top 20 downloads of all time.
