With the\n scholarship, the Mansfield Police Academy is the most affordable in \nPennsylvania, reducing tuition from $5,499 to $2,999. Additional \nscholarship opportunities exist to further reduce the cost of the \nAcademy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cadets also receive free on-campus housing at \nMansfield&#8217;s suite-style residence halls, which were named among the best\n in the nation by Niche.com. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Mansfield&#8217;s Act 120 Police Academy \nProgram is attempting to reduce the costs associated with first \nresponder training as much as possible,&#8221; explained Dr. Joshua Battin, \nDean of the Public Safety Training Institute. &#8220;It is our belief that \nbreaking down barriers for individuals interested in these careers is \nessential to recruiting high-quality individuals to serve in our \ncommunities. The scholarships, innovative training techniques, and \nadditional certifications give our graduates an advantage when seeking \ntheir first law enforcement job.&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because of the Academy&#8217;s \nexceptional reputation and its network of partners, graduates of the \nMansfield Academy enjoy a 95% job placement rate upon completion of the \nprogram. Graduates consistently rank among the top in Pennsylvania \npolice academies in GPA and state certification examination scores. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The\n Academy features a cadre of instructors with vast knowledge of police \nrecruit training and the criminal justice system. The instructor cadre \nincludes active and retired Pennsylvania State Police and Municipal \nPolice, attorneys, educators, Magistrates, and a Common Pleas Judge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mansfield\n has been at the forefront of emerging technologies in law enforcement \nand was the first academy in the Commonwealth to include \nstate-of-the-art virtual reality training for cadets.
