MANSFIELD, PA (05\/02\/2023) Commonwealth University-Mansfield will hold its 154th Spring Commencement\n ceremony on Friday, May 12, at Karl Van Norman Field on campus. The \nceremony will begin at 10 a.m. for both graduate and undergraduate \nstudents. Gates will open at 8:30 a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All seating for guests is \non a first-come basis. All students will be seated on the field and will\n be directed to sit in the appropriate area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parking is free with \nsix shuttle buses operating among the parking areas to transport guests \nto the entrance. Campus police will direct visitors to the closest \navailable parking. Guests should plan to arrive approximately one hour \nprior to commencement to allow plenty of travel time to reach campus, park, and get seated. The shuttles will operate from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A\n clear bag policy will be in place. The guidelines limit the size and \ntype of bags that can be brought into the venues. These guidelines do \nnot change the items individuals may bring, but restricts the type of \nbag used to carry items. Small clutches and wallets are permissible per \nthe guidelines outlined below. Larger bags must be clear plastic, vinyl \nor PVC and cannot exceed 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches. Clear \none-gallon plastic freezer bags (Ziploc bag or similar) are also \npermitted. Items not permitted in the venue include: large purses, \nstrollers, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, wrapped gifts, diaper backs, \ncomputer bags, luggage of any kind, cinch sacks, fanny packs, camera \nbags, and umbrellas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As in previous years, all ceremonies will be live-streamed so families, supporters, and friends may watch and celebrate virtually. Links will be available on the mansfield.edu\/commencement<\/a>web page.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
