MANSFIELD, PA\u2014<\/strong>\u00a0Four Mansfield University students presented papers at the Eastern Pennsylvania Regional Meeting of Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society hosted by Ursinus College on April 18.\"(L-R)<\/a>James Besek (Selinsgrove, PA) presented his paper, “True Heroism.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jennifer Lichtenwalner (Lehighton, PA) presented her paper entitled, “Religious Diversity in Colonial Pennsylvania.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

Richard McCouch (Collegeville, PA) presented his work, “The War America Forgot: The Spanish-American War and the Rise of American Imperialism.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sheree Palmer (Levittown, PA) presented her paper, “William Still and the Underground Railroad.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

Professor Karen Guenther and Associate Professor Shawndra Holderby, faculty advisors for the Alpha-Iota-Beta Chapter of Phi Alpha Theta, both chaired paper sessions and served as judges for paper prizes at the meeting.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
