MANSFIELD, PA— Nancy Sidell, interim dean of the College of Professional Studies and professor of Social Work, and Tiffany Welch, assistant professor of Social Work and Sociology, at Mansfield University have both been selected to serve on the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Practice Analysis Task Force.
They are two of only 25 licensed/registered social workers from across the U.S. and Canada selected.
Welch is one of only 20 people selected to serve on the Task Force.
Sidell is one of five named to serve on the oversight panel for the Task Force.
Every seven to eight years, ASWB undertakes a national analysis of the practice of social work. The Task Force will review surveys, evaluate licensing practices and help to develop future licensing exam blueprints.
