MANSFIELD, PA—The Kelchner Fitness Center (KFC) at Mansfield 
University will hold a Rock Climbing Open House on Saturday, January 9, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. the event is free and open to the public.
Anyone interested in checking out the climbing wall is invited. No experience is necessary as the trained staff on hand to help. Children of all ages are welcome with supervision.
The KFC will also host an Intro to Rock Climbing class on Friday, January 15, 5-9 p.m.
This is a true introduction to climbing. In addition to hands-on climbing instruction, participants will learn to tie a figure 8 follow-through and put on a harness and belay.
