MU Students Present at History Honor Society Meeting

MANSFIELD, PA—Two Mansfield University studentsPhi_alpha_theta_logo presented papers at the New York West/Central Regional Meeting of Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society held at Ithaca College on Saturday, April 2.

Adrian Peery presented “Finding Feminism: Using The Lady and the Unicorn to Place Medieval Women’s Issues in a Historical Context”

Miranda Peery presented “Under A Black Cape:  Gender-Specific Violence Against Women During the Holocaust.”

Shawndra Holderby, associate professor of History, chaired a session on “Women and History” at the regional meeting.
