MANSFIELD, PA— Mansfield University is offering a wide variety of music, academic and sports camps this summer. Several new innovative camps are being offered for the first time.The Creative Edge, June 20-24, will nurture campers grades five through eight creativity in a five-day camp packed with activities that will allow your imagination to unfold.
The Health Explorers Camp, July 10-13, offered in conjunction with North Central PA Area Health Education Center, is for rising 10th and 11th grade students, giving them insight into various professions in the health care industry.
Spy Camp, July 10-14, will offer hands-on experiences for rising high school juniors and seniors with an interest in intelligence and security issues.
The Mountie Outdoor Adventures Camp, July 24-29, will give campers the opportunity to learn outdoor skills while participating in a number of different activities including, mountain biking, rock climbing, backpacking, swimming and high and low ropes courses.
A number of music camps covering instruments and voice will be offered, highlighted by the Youth Music Camp, July 12-16, and the Choral Academy, July 24-29.
Sports camps for baseball, soccer, basketball and track and field are being offered throughout the summer.
In addition a wide range of subjects and experiences ranging, camps are tailored for grades from K-12 and some offer an overnight option.
Space is limited and some camps are filling up fast.
