MANSFIELD, PA— The Mansfield University Council of Trustees held its election of officers at its regular bi-monthly meeting on July 20.
Bobbi J. Kilmer was elected chairperson, Steven Crawford was re-elected vice-chair, and Patrick Henderson was elected secretary. Each will serve a two-year term.
Kilmer, a 1984 Mansfield graduate, is president and CEO of Claverack Rural Electric Cooperative, which serves a 2,250 square mile area in eight counties (Bradford, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Lycoming, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Tioga and Wyoming) of Pennsylvania. Prior to her appointment as Claverack’s sixth chief executive in 2006, she served as executive vice president and chief operating officer. Kilmer has served on the Council of Trustees since 2013.
Crawford, a 1981 Mansfield graduate, is managing vice president of S. R. Wojdak & Associates in Harrisburg, PA. Prior to his current position, he served as then Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell’s chief of staff and secretary for legislative affairs. Crawford has been a member of the Council of Trustees since 2010.
Henderson is director of Regulatory Affairs for the Marcellus Shale Coalition, the largest advocacy organization representing operators and affiliated companies involved in the development of natural gas in the Commonwealth. Prior to this role, Henderson served as deputy chief of staff and energy executive for Governor Tom Corbett. He has served on the Council of Trustees since 2013.
After the election of officers, the Council of Trustees presented a resolution to outgoing chairman Ralph Meyer, thanking him for his exemplary service and dedication to Mansfield University. Meyer has served as a Trustee since 1997, the last 10 years as chair. He will continue to serve on the Council.
