MANSFIELD, PA— Mansfield University President Fran Hendricks presented a framed copy of the 
certificate from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) Baccalaureate/Graduate Degree Board of Commissioners to Department of Business Administration Chair Gopalan Kutty on Monday, August 22.
“This is a sign of the great work of our Business faculty, led by Dr. Kutty, in completing all the requirements needed to gain ACBSP accreditation,” Hendricks said. “Given the challenge, they responded in magnificent fashion, thereby further enhancing the capabilities of their department to meet the needs of our students.”
Established in 1988, ACBSP is the only organization offering specialized business accreditation for all degree levels, from associate to baccalaureate to doctoral degree programs. ACBSP accreditation certifies that the teaching and learning processes within the business programs and degrees offered within the MU Department of Business Administration meet the rigorous educational standards established by ACBSP.
