MANSFIELD, PA— Lycoming County Coroner Charles Kiessling and Deputy Coroner Jenny Nolan visited Mansfield University to give a presentation to members of Lambda Alpha Epsilon (LAE) – American Criminal Justice Association, a national professional coed fraternity for criminal justice students.
Kiessling and Nolan talked to students about their jobs, what a typical day is like, DNA collection, and how they got to where they are today.
Students were also shown pictures of scenes the coroners had visited to give them a more complete, visual picture of the profession and what it involves. A question and answer session followed.
