MANSFIELD, PA—Shameeka Mattis-Pinard, director of Programs for Common Justice in Brooklyn, NY, will speak at Allen Hall, Room 104 on Thursday, February 9 at 6 p.m.
“Promoting Restorative Justice” is the title of her presentation. The event is free and open to the public.
Mattis-Pinard is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and advocate for alternative sentencing for violent crimes that transforms the lives of victims and fosters racial equity without relying on incarceration for youthful offenders.
