MANSFIELD, PA— The Pennsylvania State Employees Credit Union (PSECU) continued its support of Mansfield University students with a presentation of $8,000 to the PSECU Scholarship Fund on February 6. That is an increase of $4,500 from last year.PSECU Director of University Development Mike Verotsky, PSECU University Development Manager Chris Rhine and Mansfield PSECU student intern Kortney Regis made the presentation to MU President Fran Hendricks.
PSECU has made an annual contribution to the fund since its campus branch was established in 2004. PSECU Scholarship recipients are returning students selected by the scholarship committee with preference given to credit union members.
“The scholarship support PSECU provides makes a real difference in our student’s lives,” Hendricks said. “Add to that the many events they sponsor on campus, plus providing banking services to our campus community, shows their commitment to Mansfield. Dave Sikorski and his team do a great job supporting our students, faculty and staff.”
PSECU sponsors and supports several events at Mansfield throughout the academic year, including the annual Light Up Mansfield Again (LUMA) festivities which celebrate Mansfield University’s participation in the nation’s first night football game.
The PSECU e-Center is located in Manser Hall. The credit union also maintains an ATM in Alumni Hall.
