Law Enforcement Training at MU Benefits Police Academy

MANSFIELD, PA— The Mansfield University Police Department hosted Rapid Deployment Active Shooter Response Training for law enforcement officers from several area agencies and departments recently.(L-R) Frank Levindoski , MU President Fran Hendricks, Ron Warren, Christine Shegan, Director of MU Police Services and Safety and Municipal Police Academy.Ron Warren of the Twin Tiers Tactical Group and Frank Levindoski were the certified instructors for this Level I of three levels of training which prepares officers for emergency response and active intruder incidents.

Warren and Levindoski donated $1,200, 75 per cent of the proceeds from the training, to the Mansfield University Municipal Police Academy.  Both instructors have extensive emergency response and tactics experience and are both certified instructors for the Academy.

Officers from Blossburg, Gaines Township, Mansfield Law Enforcement TrainingBorough, Mansfield University, Northeast (Bradford County), and Westfield Police Departments, Tioga County Probation and Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources took part.
