MANSFIELD, PA— Mansfield University will host the fifth annual Northern Tier Marcellus Shale Business Expo on Wednesday, June 18 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
The expo connects local businesses, service providers and energy companies with each other and industry affiliated business to learn about opportunities created by the exploration and development of the Marcellus Shale.
“Mansfield University is honored to host the Northern Tier Marcellus Shale Business Expo and we’re excited to be able to bring so many business representatives and visitors to our campus,” MU President Fran Hendricks said. “Much of the credit for Mansfield’s involvement goes to David Stinebeck, our interim provost, and Lindsey Sikorski, director of The Marcellus Institute at Mansfield University, and their teams for making this possible.”
Indoor vendor displays will be in Decker Gymnasium, with outdoor displays and demonstrations in the nearby T2 parking lot.
Organizations interested in reserving a vendor booth can do so online.
