MANSFIELD, PA— “Rust and Renaissance: A History of Pennsylvania’s Working Landscapes Since 1945” will be the topic of a presentation by Allen Dieterich-Ward, author of Beyond Rust: Metropolitan Pittsburgh and the Fate of Industrial America in Retan Center, Room G-1 on Monday, October 16 at 4 p.m.
The Pennsylvania Historical Association, housed at Mansfield University, and the History Center on Main Street in Mansfield are co-sponsoring the presentation, which is free and open to the public.
Dieterich-Ward is an associate professor of History at Shippensburg University. He is winner of the Arline Custer Memorial Award for the best book in Mid-Atlantic history and president of the Pennsylvania Historical Association.
