MANSFIELD, PA— Three Mansfield University students, accompanied by Career Center Director Nichole Lefelhoc, attended WebpageFX-U, a university recruiting event hosted by Harrisburg-based internet marketing company WebpageFX on October 26.Rachel Clark ‘20 (English: Professional Writing), Kortney Regis ’18 (Political Science, Public Relations minor), and Joshua Hastings ’18 (Organizational Communication, Creative Writing minor) had an opportunity to attend breakout sessions to learn about the growing industry of internet marketing from employees, as well as the history of WebpageFX from President and Co-Founder Bill Craig.
A full service internet marketing company, WebpageFX was recognized as the “Best Place to Work in PA for Small/Medium Employers” for two consecutive years. They’ve also received recognition as a “Millennials Best Place to Work” and “Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies in America”. The company has seen exponential growth in their workforce in the past few years.
“As corny as it may sound, every day I’m excited to go to work at WebpageFX,” Emily Good. A 2017 MU graduate who is Talent Acquisition and Culture strategist, said. “When I graduated in August, I had no idea that just two short months later I’d be fully immersed in a position in my field and learning and growing more every day. WebpageFX invests in new graduates and gives them the tools and equipment necessary to jump-start their own careers. I truly love my job and am so excited to see MU students interested in joining the FX team.”
“There are a lot of questions and doubts plaguing college seniors and recent grads,” Good added. “Will I find a job in my field? How can I reach my dream position without field experience? Can I afford to relocate? Events like WebpageFX-U aim to answer those questions while also introducing the company as a potential employment option for top-notch students. We strive to give college students a real-life glimpse into the field of internet marketing, and introduce them to people who have the jobs they’re working so hard to someday hold. Hopefully, by providing feedback and insight, our attendees leave feeling encouraged and with a better sense of direction as they approach graduation.”
