M. Unity Project to Feature a Series of Campus Events

MANSFIELD, PA—Mansfield University will celebrate the M. Unity Project with a series of events the week of December 4.  M. Unity is a collaborative program with the simple task of creating a more positive and deeply connected community at Mansfield.

On Monday, a canvas featuring a blank mandala, a geometric figure representing the universe, will be made available to all members of our community in Allen Hall, Room 123, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.  Members of the campus community are invited to stop by and pick up a brush and add some color, get out the glitter glue, attach some decorations and add positive words to the canvas to create a visual representation of MU unity.

Tuesday, the M. Unity Project will be part of Employee Holiday Party, hosted by the Red and Black Committee.

Employees are invited to Alumni Hall, Room 307 between 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. for lunch compliments of Interim President Scott Barton and is wife, Rebecca. Employees are also invited to bring a dish to pass. The luncheon will feature an ugly sweater contest, a holiday cookie contest and mystery holiday gifts that will be given out as door prizes.

On Wednesday and Thursday, Alumni Hall, Room 307 will be set up from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.as the place to go for students and faculty to relax before finals.

M. Unity is a joint effort between the Department of Academic and Human Development and the Department of Art with support from the Office of the Provost.
