MANSFIELD, PA— The Mansfield University community is mourning the passing of 
Professor Emeritus Richard (Dick) Talbot, who died on March 9.
Talbot served as a member of the Music faculty from 1967-91, teaching percussion, marching and symphonic band. He was a longtime director of the Mansfield Marching Band and was granted emeritus status in 1992.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
