MANSFIELD, PA— The Mansfield University Council of Trustees honored Mackenzie Hafer at her last meeting as Student Trustee on Wednesday, March 21.
Hafer is completing her two-year term and will graduate with a degree in Business Administration: Accounting in May.
Bobbi Kilmer, chairperson of the Council of Trustees, thanked Hafer for her outstanding service and dedication to the University and for representing the student’s interests on the Council.
Hafer is the daughter of Duane and Laurie Hafer, both Mansfield graduates, of Athens, PA. Her three older sisters; Mallory, Morgan and Meredith, all graduated from MU as well.
Her replacement on the Council of Trustees has been nominated. All Trustees must be appointed by the Governor and then approved by the Pennsylvania State Senate.
