Lil Dicky to Headline Mansfield’s Spring Fling Concert

MANSFIELD, PA— Rapper Lil Dicky will perform in concert at Mansfield University’s Decker Gymnasium on Friday, April 27, at 8 p.m. Gates will open at 7 p.m.

The concert is part of MU’s annual Spring Fling, sponsored by the Student Government Association (SGA).

Lil Dicky rose to prominence with the release of the music video to his song Ex-Boyfriend in 2015, which went viral with more than one million views on YouTube in 24 hours. He released his debut album, Professional Rapper, that same year.

Earlier this year, Lil Dicky released a new single, Freaky Friday, featuring Chris Brown. The video has reached over 100 million views and topped the charts in the United Kingdom and New Zealand.

The concert will also feature special guests Lupe Fiasco, The Cool Kids and Young Shoddy.

Fiasco is a Chicago-born, Grammy award-winning American rapper, record producer, entrepreneur, and community advocate. He has released six acclaimed studio albums, his latest being Drogas Light in 2017 on his own label, 1st& 15th.

Tickets are $30 plus handling fees. All tickets are general admission and they are available at the Mountie Den (Campus Bookstore) Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. in Alumni Hall and at the Mansfield Chamber of Commerce, 51 South Main Street, during normal business hours. Tickets are also available on-line at mansfield.tix.com.  

Concert tickets are free to MU students with ID at the Mountie Den.

The MU Spring Fling concert event is funded by student activity fees.
