MANSFIELD, PA— The Mansfield University community is mourning the passing of Professor Emeritus Wilfred (Wil) Blais, who died on June 8. 
Blais served as a member of the English faculty from 1964-88. He was granted emeritus status in 1989.
Calling hours will be held 1-3 p.m. with a memorial service following at 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 14 at Buckheit Funeral Chapel, 637 South Main Street in Mansfield.
Memorial donations may be given in Blais’ name to the Department of English at Mansfield University, 31 South Academy Street, Mansfield, PA. 16933. Checks should be made payable to Mansfield University with “English Scholarships” in the memo section.
