MANSFIELD, PA – The Mansfield University Music Department will present the Saxophone Studio recital on Sunday October 21 at 1pm in the Chamber Music Hall 163.
This semester’s theme is Mansfield Composers. The hour-long recital will include music by Bill Cutter (’78), Brian Story (’78), Bill Calhoun (’82), Jeff Tylutki (’05), Josh Hartman (’12), Bernie Walasavage (’12), Hanako Henty (’13), Andrew Walters and Adam Brennan (both current faculty).
Collaborating with the saxophone studio are the Chamber Singers (Peggy Dettwiler, director); Mansfieldians (Sheryl Monkelien, director); Eun-Joo Kwak, piano; Alissa Rose, soprano; Matthew Slotkin, guitar; and Korena Kraynak, piano.
