Mansfield, PA — Faculty from the chemistry and physics, biology, and geosciences departments at Mansfield University are organizing a science day on April 6, 2019, for area students. The program, called IDEAS Day, will provide elementary school students with an opportunity to participate in a day of hands-on science experiments with University science faculty and students. This will be the fourth year the program has been offered.
IDEAS Day (Inquire, Develop, Explore, Apply, Science) is geared towards 1st through 6th graders. Participants will be able to select which projects they would like to participate in from a list for their age group.
Pre-registration and a registration fee for this event are required. There will be no registration on the day of the event. Please visit www.mansfield.edu/ideasday for more information about the event and the link to register. Space is limited, so families are encouraged to register early for this one-of-a-kind, hands-on experience.
Any questions about IDEAS Day may be directed to ideasday@mansfield.edu.
