MANSFIELD, PA— Comedian Ron White will perform his new show
“Nutcracker” at Decker Gymnasium on Thursday, November 20 at 8 p.m. Doors will open at 7 p.m.
White burst onto the national scene as a member of the “Blue Collar Comedy” phenomenon from 2000 to 2003. From there he established himself as one of the top stand-up comedians working today.
This is White’s second visit to MU. He performed to a sold-out crowd in Straughn Auditorium in April 2012.
White has garnered two Grammy nominations, a Gold Record, two of the top rated one-hour specials in Comedy Central History, a book that appeared on the New York Times Best Seller List, and CD and DVD sales of over 10 million units.

Tickets go on sale to MU students on Monday, September 22 for 
$10 in person at the Mountie Den (Campus Bookstore) Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Students must present ID to purchase their tickets.
Tickets will go on sale to the MU Community and MU Alumni on Tuesday, September 23 for $20 and to the General Public for $30. They will be available to purchase in person at the Mountie Den (Campus Bookstore), located in Alumni Hall, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. or on-line at mansfield.tix.com. Ticket handling charges apply.
Steve Plesac, director of Student Activities & Student programming, has also announced that Decker Gymnasium is being set up into a one-half gym theatre arrangement for only 1,400 seats for the upcoming performance.
“All the seats will be great seats for this concert event,” Plesac said. “We will have chairs on the floor up to the mid-court line and both side bleachers will be open for seating as well.”
This event is sponsored by the Student Activities Office and is funded by Student Activity Fees.
