MANSFIELD, Pa. – Mansfield University’s Loomis Art Gallery is currently exhibiting Purpose/Repurpose by Bridget Parlato and will host an artist workshop, lecture, and reception on Tuesday, Feb. 4.

Parlato is a designer, artist, and activist based in Baltimore. The exhibition Purpose/Repurpose features a selection of cause-related works designed to raise awareness of our impact on the earth, our water systems, the animal world and each other.

The exhibition concludes on Feb. 4 with a workshop from 9:30 to 11:50 a.m., a lecture from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. and a reception from 4 to 6 p.m.

This event is open to the public and made possible by Mansfield University, the PA Council on the Arts, the Bradford Regional Arts Council, the Student Government Association, the Department of Art, and the Mansfield Foundation.

The Loomis Art Gallery, located on campus in Allen Hall, is open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., or by appointment.
