Todd Garnier named Vice President for Finance and Administration

MANSFIELD – Dr.
Charles Patterson, President of Mansfield University, has named Todd Garnier as
Vice President for Finance and Administration.

The Vice President for
Finance and Administration is responsible for the management and oversight of
Mansfield University’s annual budget and the supervision of a variety of
service units, including budget planning, financial services and reporting,
physical plant, campus police and safety, financial aid, and student accounts.
The Vice President for Finance and Administration serves as a member of the
President’s Cabinet.

Garnier brings a wealth of
experience in higher education finance, most recently serving as the Vice President
of Administrative Services & Chief Financial Officer at nearby Corning
Community College. Garnier has held previous financial leadership roles at Stanford
University, SUNY’s Monroe Community College Association, Inc., and the Rochester
Institute of Technology.

Garnier received a Bachelor
of Science in accounting from SUNY Empire State before earning an MBA from St.
John Fisher College.

Garnier will join Mansfield
University in May. He replaces Interim Vice President for Finance and
Administration, Kathryn Crossin, who recently announced her retirement after serving
18 years in the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education.
