MANSFIELD, Pa. – Mansfield University participated in its inaugural
Thank a Giver (TAG) Days on April 26-27. TAG Day is a campus-wide event that
celebrates direct university support by encouraging students, faculty, and
staff to write a note of thanks to university donors.

The campus community completed more than 450 notes of gratitude
during the two-day event.

“We want to ensure our students and faculty are
optimally supported now and 100 years into the future,” said Mansfield
University Executive Director of Advancement Casey Wood.”

With Wood recently named to this position, Mansfield
University is eager to cultivate collaborative donor relations and enhance
university advancement operations. “We have a lot of work to do, and it’s
critically important work. However, investing in our students today and growing
these investments tomorrow is rewarding labor.”

“One of the most powerful relationships in higher education
is between students and their donors. Collaborating with donors and expressing
our gratitude to our supporters is something you will see more of at Mansfield
University.”
