MANSFIELD, PA— Mansfield University is offering 60 hours of real estate pre-license courses required for individuals to become licensed salespersons in Pennsylvania.
The classes will be held on campus, 6-9 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays, beginning on March 16 and ending on May 21. Pre-registration is required.
Thomas “Tom” Saveri, broker owner and manager of United Country Realty Pioneers in Wellsboro, will be the instructor. Saveri has been licensed for 34 years and has a Pennsylvania and New York Broker’s License. He is president and director of the North Central Penn Board of Realtors and has been a national sales trainer and real estate coach for more than six years.
The pre-license courses include 30 hours of real estate fundamentals, covering contracts and deeds, and 30 hours of real estate practice, covering agency activities. Instruction will include sample questions to improve the student’s proficiency in answering typical real estate license exam questions.
The cost for both courses is $390. Textbooks are required at an additional cost.
