Lecture on Art Conservation to be held Thursday

MANSFIELD, PA— Cathleen Zaret will present “An Introduction to Art Conservation LectureArt Conservation” on Thursday, March 19, 2-4 p.m. in Allen Hall, Room 104. The lecture is free and open to the public.

Zaret is the Andrew W. Mellon Fellow in Textile Conservation at the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian in Washington, DC. She earned her Master’s Degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology in Fashion and Textile Studies: History, Theory, Museum Practice, with a concentration in Textile Conservation.

The lecture is sponsored by the Student Government Association (SGA) and the Art Acquisition and Exhibition Committee, which is funded by Mansfield University College Community Services Inc. (CCSI), the Mansfield University Foundation and is supported by student activity fees.
