MANSFIELD, PA— Rita Dibble has been named assistant vice
president of Advancement at Mansfield University.
“Rita has an extraordinary educational and professional background encompassing all facets of advancement, alumni relations, marketing and public relations,” MU President Fran Hendricks said in making the announcement.
Dibble will lead MU’s Alumni Relations, Marketing, Public Relations, Camps and Conferences and Advancement functions.
“She will also work hand in hand with the Mansfield University Foundation as together we promote our University and the success of our students,” Hendricks said.
Dibble comes to Mansfield from Lincoln University, where she has been director of Alumni Relations and Development since 2012. She has also served as director of Alumnae Relations at Wilson College, assistant director of Development at Misericordia University and has held marketing and development positions in the private sector. She also served as the principal of a Montessori school in Honesdale, PA for seven years.
Dibble holds a Master in Mass Communication with a specialization in Advertising and Public Relations from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and a Bachelor and Master in English Literature from Maharaja Sayajirao University in India.
She will begin her duties at Mansfield on June 2.
