MU Marks the 10th Year of EMMF

MANSFIELD, PA— Before the last concert of this year’s Endless Mountain(L-R) Tabitha Dietrich, president of the EMMF Board of Directors, Music Director and Conductor Stephen Gunzenhauser, MU President Fran Hendricks Music Festival (EMMF) held at Steadman Theatre on Friday, Mansfield University President Fran Hendricks presented a certificate of appreciation to Music Director and Conductor Stephen Gunzenhauser and Tabitha Dietrich, president of the EMMF Board of Directors, to mark the 10th anniversary of the festival.

The certificate reads, “Presented to Endless Mountain Music Festival, In Celebration of Your First Decade Bringing Music and Culture to Central Pennsylvania and South Central New York.”

Before making the presentation, Hendricks praised the talent and efforts of the musicians and everyone involved in the festival, which this year featured 24 different performances at venues across the Twin Tiers from July 24-August 8. MU hosted three concerts this year.EMMF-MU 2Since the inception of the EMMF, Mansfield faculty, staff and students have been involved as musicians and in support capacities, in addition to the university hosting several concerts each year.
