PRISM Concert to Mark 20th Year with Three Performances

MANSFIELD, PA— Area music fans will have three opportunities to take in the PRISMMusic @ Mansfield Concert, which, now in its 20th year, is among the most popular events presented annually by the Mansfield University Music Department.

Performances will be held on Friday, September 25 and Saturday, September 26 and Friday, October 9 at 7:30 p.m. in Steadman Theatre.           

Uninterrupted by pause or applause, more than 200 musicians will provide over an hour of continuous music from all corners of the hall for a theatre-in-the-round experience.

The concert a wide variety of music–from jazz to classical styles and everything in between, as well as a wide range of ensembles, big and small, instrumental and vocal.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for senior citizens and $5 for students. MU students with ID will be admitted free.

Tickets can be ordered online at music.mansfield.edu or by phone at (570)662-4710. Tickets will also be available at the door one hour before each performance but due to the popularity of these concerts, patrons are advised to buy tickets in advance.

All proceeds from the concerts benefit the Music Department scholarship fund.
