MANSFIELD, PA— The Mansfield University Transfer Student Organization (TSO) held a collection campaign in support of the “Totes of Hope” project over the past several weeks.
“Totes of Hope” is an American Red Cross program that distributes personal care items to homeless veterans.
TSO members placed collection bins and information about the project around campus and in Mansfield. After collecting the donations, members of TSO inventoried and sorted the items. The donations were presented to an American Red Cross representative on December 3.
The donations will be packed into a tote or backpack and distributed to local homeless veterans in Central Pennsylvania.
