MANSFIELD, PA—This year’s Mansfield University Music Department Holiday Choral Concert, “O Wondrous Mystery,” will be broadcast on several media outlets during the holiday season.Blue Ridge Cable will broadcast this year’s concert several times in the Northern Tier on Cable Channel 13 and across the entire Blue Ridge system on Channel 113.
The concert will be broadcast on Blue Ridge on Saturday, December 19 at 8 p.m., Sunday, December 20 at 9 p.m. and on Christmas Day at 7 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 6 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.
The system-wide Blue Ridge broadcasts on Channel 113 will be on Saturday, December 19 at 8 p.m., Christmas Day at 1 and 7 p.m., Saturday, December 26 at 1 p.m. and Sunday, December 27 at 6 p.m.
WNEP-TV (ABC, Scranton-Wilkes Barre) will also show the concert on Sunday, December 20 at 1:30 p.m.
WETM2-TV (Elmira) will air the concert on Christmas Day at 8 p.m.
WSKG-TV (PBS, Binghamton) will also broadcast the concert on Christmas Day at 8 p.m.
WETM-TV (NBC, Elmira) will broadcast the concert on Sunday, December 27 at noon.
The broadcast is a one-hour version of the concert’s original performance earlier this month in Steadman Theatre.
The program, produced and directed by Director of Choral Activities Peggy Dettwiler, features more than 150 musicians. Singers and instrumentalists in the Women’s Chorus, Men’s Chorus, Festival Chorus, Chamber Singers and the Concert Choir took part.
The broadcasts are produced and directed by MU Director of Media Services Mark Polonia, assisted by Adam Murtland and Chyenne Bostwick.
