MANSFIELD, PA— The Mansfield University community is 
mourning the passing of John Richard “Dick” Walker, who died on Sunday, December 20.
Walker served as a member of Mathematics faculty from August, 1970 until May, 2002. He was awarded emeritus status in November, 2002.
Walker returned to campus frequently after retirement and served as Convocation speaker in August, 2008.
There will be no public services. A memorial service will be scheduled for a future date. For more information, click here.
