MANSFIELD, PA—Mansfield University Sociology/Anthropology majors Shelby Dunning and Sierra Blake presented their research in a poster session at the annual meeting of the Eastern Sociology Society held in Boston, MA March 17-20.
Dunning won the award for outstanding poster of their session for her work “Media’s Influence on Body Image.” It was one of only five awards given during the meeting.
More than 150 undergraduates from universities across the Eastern U.S. and Canada presented their research at the meeting.
