MANSFIELD, PA— Lilace Mellin Guignard, instructor of Creative Writing, Women’s Studies and Outdoor 
Recreation Leadership at Mansfield University, will read from her chapbook, Young at the Time of Letting Go, accompanied by Cheryl Hein Walters on harp on Friday, October 28, 7:30 p.m. at the Gmeiner Art and Cultural Center in Wellsboro.
The event is free and open to the public. It may not be appropriate for all children due to the subject matter of parents and death.
Young at the Time of Letting Go, published by Evening Street Press, was a co-winner of the Evening Street Press Helen Kay Chapbook 2015 contest. Her work has recently appeared in Poetry magazine.
My Shelf Books will have copies of Guignard’s book available for purchase at the event. She will be available to sign the books after the reading.
