MU Mourns the Passing of Three Retired Music Faculty

MANSFIELD, PA— The Mansfield University community is mourning the recent passing of three retired Music Department faculty.

Donald Stanley passed away on November 23. He taught at Mansfield from 1966-1991, specializing in low brass. He also conducted the Wind Ensemble and served as department chair during his time.

Professor Adam Brennan is planning a tribute concert for April 2017.

Walter Kent Hill passed away on October 23. He taught from 1965-97, focusing on piano, organ, theory and eurhythmics. Hill also served as department chair.

Joyce Wunderlich taught at Mansfield from 1965-97, specializing in music education. She also served department chair during her career. Wunderlich passed away on October 29.
