MANSFIELD, PA— Canton Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 714 has donated $1,000 to Student Veterans of America (SVA) chapter at Mansfield University to support the chapter’s efforts on behalf of veteran students.
Mansfield’s SVA chapter is part of a national coalition of over 1,300 student veteran organizations in all 50 states. MU’s veteran students have access to all SVA services, including scholarships.
Founded in 2008, SVA’s mission is to provide military veterans with the resources, support and advocacy needed to succeed in higher education and after graduation.
