MANSFIELD, PA— The Mansfield University community is mourning the 
passing of Makayla Smith, who died on Wednesday, December 21.
A Social Work major from Philadelphia, PA, Smith was scheduled to graduate in May.
Services will be held on Thursday, January 5 at Christian Stronghold Church, 4701 Lancaster Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19131. The viewing will be from 9-11 a.m. with the service to follow at 11 a.m.
A campus memorial service is being planned in January when students return for the spring semester.
