MANSFIELD, PA— A group of Mansfield University Social Work students have organized a Child Abuse Prevention Walk in Wellsboro on Saturday, April 29. The walk will
begin at 11 a.m. on the Green, across from the Tioga County Court House. It is free and open to the public.
At the conclusion of the walk there will be refreshments, games, activities, a bounce house and information booths on the Green.
The purpose of the walk are to help raise awareness in the community about child abuse, the signs of abuse and ways to prevent it.
Donations will be accepted for Tioga County Human Services. Tioga County Human Services is an agency that provides needs for abused and neglected children.
